LPO Week in Review
Here are the top stories from this past week:
- 9/28 – Dave Cowen gives a little insight to Q3 Survey results concerning litigation support staffing trends.
- 9/29 – Eric Sinrod wrote a great article on how state courts are becoming increasingly involved in ediscovery rules.
- 9/30 – California adopted the Electronic Discovery Act this summer as an amendment to the Rules of Civil Procedure. Anthony Schoenberg discusses its scope over ESI, clawbacks, a “safe harbor” provision and the absence of a case management provision.
- 10/1 – Over at Electronic Discovery Law, the Seventh Circuit is set to begin an eDiscovery Pilot Program. It will induce “cooperation and reform” in select cases. The idea is to sort out common issues associated with eDiscovery early on in the proceedings.
- 10/1 – A great little find on The Posse List yesterday was their DC membership reporting on what jobs are out there and what’s the going rate.
- 10/2 – The Supreme Court of Singapore has adopted a new direction and guidelines for data storage and electronic discovery. Reported by Vivian Yeo at ZDnet Asia…
